Delete your data

You do not have to close your Shriyam account to have something removed. This page is for deleting part of your data — most often the recording of a seva.

How to request it

  1. Email [email protected] from the address you booked with — that is how we confirm the request is yours.
  2. Say what you want removed. A seva code like SHRI-0042 helps, but “the recording from Ganesh Chaturthi” is enough.
  3. A person reads it and acts on it. No reason is needed, and nothing else about your account changes.

What can be deleted this way

  • Recordings of your sevas — destroyed, not hidden
  • Your sankalpa details — gotra, nakshatra, and anything you asked us to include
  • Your phone number
  • Any review you wrote

What we keep, and why

The bare record that a payment happened — amount, date, and its Stripe reference. We are required to retain that for accounting, and our privacy policy says so. Your email address also stays while the account is open, because it is how you sign in and how we reach you about a booked seva.

Recordings are destroyed after 30 days in any case. Asking here simply makes it sooner.

Want the whole account gone instead?

Delete your account — that removes your details and every recording at once, and you can do it yourself without emailing anyone.
